1986-1994, IGS acted as the General Contractor of Minneftegasstroy on construction of Uralsk gas complex facilities – (Contract No. 63-01 / 40001-108 (CSSR and USSR) Contract No. 63-09 / 30001-105 (GDR & USSR) Agreement between the government of USSR and CzechSSR, 16.12.1985) , – Agreement between the government of USSR and GDR (East Germany, 20.01.1986). During the 1986-1994 period, “IGS” was carrying out scopes of work to support the Program of the Intergovernmental Agreement between the former USSR and Czechoslovakia and between USSR and East Germany (GDR) to develop the Karachaganak Oil & Gas Condensate Field. “IGS” acted as a General Contractor with respect to the construction of industrial and civil facilities in Aksay and the Karachaganak Oil & Gas Condensate field. With the opening of a large oil and gas condensate field in Karachaganak, the Aksay town received an impetus for accelerated development. In the 1986 contractors from the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and German Democratic Republic arrived to Aksay: Czechoslovakia and the GDR, took part in the construction of technological lines at the Karachaganak Oil & Gas Condensate Field and the town of Aksay. Many industrial enterprises were built. In the years between 1986-1994 a number of modern comfortable nine-storey residential buildings have been built with the integrated development of social infrastructure (schools, kindergartens, shopping and entertainment centers). Since the construction works in Aksay, micro districts are still referred to as - "Czech", "German" houses. Powerful urban sewage treatment facilities and drainage systems were constructed to go in line with the design developed by the USSRs Ministry of Oil and Gas. Aksay was developed and brought into line with the European quality overpass through the railway and the main urban roads. All these works were carried out by Contractors from Czechoslovakia and East Germany “IGS” was acting as the General Contractor.Client: USSR – Mingazprom (USSR’s Ministry of Oil and Gas). Project cost - $448,952,800.00.
1995 UNIT-2 at the Karachaganak Oil & Gas Condensate field- Gas pipeline branch to the village Zharsuat. Gas Distribution Auto station: Pipeline installation length 10.5 km, working pressure-50 kg-f / cm2. Three gas distribution stations: construction and instrumentation works. Client: General Management of Construction Committee of the Karachaganak Oil and Gas Condensate Field. Project Cost - $1,145,236.00.
1995-1997 - Aksai-Jambeyta gas pipeline 155 km long. The diameter of the pipe being 325 mm. The Client: JSC "Zakazstroygaz". Project cost - $8,881,499.00.
1996-1997 UNIT-3 facility at the Karachaganak Oil & Gas Condensate field. The construction of Gas Ventilating Compressor Building, Road repairs, pipe mechanical works, concrete works for the Pump building. Client: KOS (Karachaganak Organization Structure-BG & AGIP), General Contractor: BECHTEL. Project Cost - $1,064,681.00.

1998 - 2011 In 1998,”IGS” formed a joint venture with the Italian company Sicim and became known as IGS-Sicim LLC JV (since 2011 -IGS-Corporation LLC instead of IGS-Sicim ) for the duration of the Karachaganak projects. The primary contracts (projects) delivered by the Joint Venture were the Unit-3 Priority Works, Upgrade of the Fire Water System, Metering System; Deluge System, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Works. 2011 “IGS” group is made up of 2 companies: 1) IGS JSC – Head company & 2) IGS LLC its wholly owned subsidiary. The two companies are two legal entities
Intergasstroy JSC – which has Offices in Aksay, Fabrication Shops/Labs, (“IGS” has its own civil laboratory for testing concrete products for hardness, strength and compression), and facilities/equipment to provide any construction Project Support (logistic, accommodations, transportations).
IGS-Corporation - a wholly owned subsidiary, which was rebranded to an Oil & Gas servicing Construction company.
1) IGS JSC with a well equipped technological production base/yard (fabrication workshops) including a batching plant, open and closed areas for Loading/Unloading and storage of inert materials, heated storage facilities and railway branches (marshal railway connection), delivers a full range of civil, mechanical and installation works.
2) “IGS LLC” performs a full range of civil, mechanical and installation-works and holds the 1st category construction license.
If there is a necessity, both companies are able to work together mutually benefiting and bringing high value joint delivery execution - labor, equipment, human resources, etc.
